Decatur Cottage Renovation and Addition

This project focused on revitalizing a charming brick cottage in the heart of Decatur. This project aimed to modernize the home while preserving its cozy, traditional character. The renovation and addition provided much-needed space and updated amenities to create a comfortable, functional living environment for the homeowners.

The exterior of the cottage was carefully restored to maintain its quaint, timeless appeal. The interior renovation involved a complete overhaul of the existing layout to create an open-concept living space. The kitchen was relocated and appointed with modern appliances, custom cabinetry, and a functional layout that maximizes space. The main living areas were reimagined to enhance natural light and create a seamless flow between rooms.

An addition was constructed to expand the living space, including a new master suite with a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. The new screened porch is an extension to the home with access from the master bedroom. Above a new bunk room and bathroom were added on the second level.
