Brookhaven Addition & Renovation

What do you do when you love your neighborhood, but don’t love your house? In Brookhaven, we helped the homeowners transform their spaces through a variety of cosmetic projects while also converting unused spaces into where they now live their lives.

We gave the home a new look by adding a front porch entry way that covers their front door and keeps guest dry upon arriving. Our clients also wanted to construct a carport so that the existing garage could be converted to a garden and craft room. In addition to adding the casement windows looking out to the backyard we swapped out the original garage doors with aluminum and glass doors so that even when closed, the garden and craft room would filled with natural light. As an added bonus – there is a retractable screen so that there can be a nice breeze even if it is bug season.

We also expanded their living room area with folding steel doors opening to a new sunroom with wood beams and a brick floor. The swinging sofa bed is a fun place to hang out and read a book on a sunny day.

This whole project started out as a renovation of our clients’ master suite that we worked on with their interior designer. Ever had one of those “while we are at it” thoughts?
