Ansley Park Foursquare Addition and Renovation

This project involved the complete renovation and thoughtful addition to a classic 1920s two-story Craftsman foursquare home, nestled in the picturesque Ansley Park neighborhood of Atlanta. The house, originally a four-bedroom, two-bath residence, had last undergone major updates in the 1990s—renovations that had not stood the test of time. Our clients, anticipating the arrival of their first child, sought a clean, modernized home that still honored the architectural integrity of its historic roots.

We undertook a comprehensive update of the entire house, focusing on reconfiguring the floor plan on both levels to enhance flow and functionality. Key changes included a complete reimagining of the kitchen layout and an addition that allowed for the creation of a proper primary suite, complete with a spacious bedroom, a luxurious ensuite bath, and a walk-in closet. The relocation of the laundry room to the upper floor further added to the home’s convenience. The result is a beautifully restored home that seamlessly blends historic charm with modern living, perfectly suited for the next chapter in our clients’ lives.
